Getting close to ringing the bell.! |
FINISHED! |
This is one of the many quilts that we made from Kevin's block drive last year. We will be quilting these for quite some time. We are quilting them all differently though, so that will make it more interesting for the hand quilters.
Since it rained almost 2 inches this morning, I don't have to spend any time today watering my garden and plants, so more time for stitching. I need to get moving and finish up something so I will have some fabric "used" to put on my stash report. lol
Dar, this gives me chills. You all have made 1850 quilts in 10 year?? That is awesome! Have they all been hand quilted? The log cabin is gorgeous. What a blessing your group is to the veterans. Thank you!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful hand quilting on those QOVs. Your group does such good works. Hope you can find some time to stitch before tomorrow's report.
ReplyDeleteJob well done ladies!!! That Log Cabin quilt is gorgeous - and I love the designs quilted into Kevin's block drive quilt. It would be hard to think of new ways to quilt each one, there are so many!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful quilts and what a fabulous accomplishment for you and the quilters. Congrats on your quilts!
ReplyDeleteMy stars! 1850 in 10 years - that's almost 200 a year. How big is your group? That is amazing and so wonderful! These last two are gorgeous!!
ReplyDeletePretty quilts. I keep telling myself I'm going to make a Quilts of Valor quilt, but I haven't done it yet.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous quilts for a great cause! Way to go.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on doing so much for a great cause!! Quilters really are giving people, aren't they?
ReplyDeleteWay to go... you and the many quilters who continue to make quilts for Quilts of Valor. You're doing such a wonderful thing, honoring the veterans in this way. It's very impressive.
