I promised an update of whether or not I was able to resist buying fabric in Paducah. Well, let's see....I definitely did not come home empty handed. it was a great show as usual and the weather was perfect this year. I didn't think it was a crowded as in the past, but I was there later in the week this year.
Here are some of the things I brought home with me - thread (a new kind - Iris all cotton), a V-block ruler, yarns (the knit shop was closing so the prices were great) ,a 17" swivel cutting mat, a 72" square portable design wall, and more fun things to keep me busy. But do you see any fabric?? Nope... I was such a good girl -- no fabric to add to my stash this time.
So here's where I stand since my last fabric report way back in April.
Fabric Report -Week #21
Fabric Added - O
Fabric Used since 4/19 - 7.5 yds (mostly pillowcases and one border)
Fabric Added YTD - O
Fabric Used YTD - 45.5 yds
Net used in 2015 - 45.5 yds
Take a look over at Judy's Patchwork Times to see how others are managing their stashes this year.
Well, I missed you! I don't comment a lot, but you are part of my bloglovin group. Glad to see you have the V-Block ruler. I find it much more accurate than tri-recs.
ReplyDeleteI am so impressed that you resisted the fabric at Paducah! Yes, you've been missed; I'm just not one to harass like Kevin . I've not seen the V-Block ruler. I may have to try it since I don't do well with Tri-Recs, either.
ReplyDeleteYep, I have been wondering were you had gotten off to. Congratulations for sticking to your guns at Paducah, but I wouldn't have blamed you if you came home with fabric!

Yes, I've missed you! You showed remarkable restraint. I would have come home with fabric. Have a good week.
ReplyDeleteI was just starting to wonder where you were. Congrats on making it through Paducah without buying any fabric. That had to take will power!
ReplyDeleteI haven't been posting lately either, but I have been using some fabric. Looks like you got some great toys in Paducah! Glad to see your report :)
ReplyDeleteUnbelievable!!! I'll bet you didn't step a foot into Hancock's or Eleanor Burns, right? Otherwise how in the world did you come home with no fabric!!!!!
ReplyDeleteSHE'S ALIVE!!!!!!!!!! SHREEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAK!!!!!!!!! I still can't believe you haven't bought any fabric! If only I could have the same control you have about not buy fabric with my eating everything in site!
ReplyDeleteCongrats on your great stash usage! Looks like you got some great goodies in Paducah, especially that 17" swivel mat.
ReplyDeleteYes, you were missed. Thought of you often and hoped all was well. Glad to hear you were able to make it to Paducah and impressed that you didn't come home with any fabric. You have will-power girl! Enjoy your new acquisitions and don't stay away so long next time. :)
ReplyDeleteOh yes indeed you were a good girl!!! I love that yarn you stashed :*) It appears we've both been absent from blogland for a while. Must take a break every now and again, right? Looking forward to reconnecting my friend :)
