My stash report does not reflect any of the fabric that I've been using and cutting up for Easy Street, so actually more was used than reported. When the top gets finished, all the yardage for all steps will be calculated. That should make my 2013 used numbers look really good right off the bat!! The only sewing that counts toward the stash this week is part of a block for Nancy (block exchange group) and 2 pillowcases for charity. I didn't make the fabric usage goals for 2012; but I did manage to use more than I added--so all-in-all, I'm happy with the results this year on fabric usage. However, I'm really ashamed of my goals on finishing up some of my many UFOs. Actually I was a total failure in that department. Maybe in 2013 I'll concentrate more on those. I need the space all those boxes are occupying! Yes, 2013 will be the year to get serious about UFOs.

You are really rockin' that Easy Street!! Can't wait to see it finished. And I am going to hold you accountable for finishing up some UFO's in 2013. Because I want to see them!!

ReplyDeleteGreat usage numbers for this year! Maybe next year you can finish some of those UFOs. I'm with you - they take up too much storage space and break up the stash too much. God only knows how much yardage I have tucked in the UFO boxes.

ReplyDeleteGreat numbers! You've used almost twice what you've acquired. Your Easy Street is all so nice and orderly. I'm a little short and waiting for more of the black on white...so I don't have all of the latest clue finished....enough for a few blocks. 2013 is the year to get stuff done!
ReplyDeleteI don't know why it is so hard to finished quilts that we have started in the past. Guess it is just too fun to start a new quilt, exciting to see what it can become.

ReplyDeleteYeah, those UFOs are starting to drag me down. Only got done 2 this year instead of the 12 I was suppose to for Judy's UFO challenge. There's always next year. Congrats on the numbers - twice as much out as in - I think that's great!
