However, I can show you my finished Rainbow Soul Searching that was quilting frantically right before the deadline of our quilt show a couple weeks ago. I quilted a continuous spiral on my old standby Bernina 730.
Here are a couple more scrap quilts that were hanging near mine at the show that I liked.
And this was a beautifully appliqued gem. It didn't win a ribbon, but I thought it should have.
I'll post some of the ribbon winners next time. It's back to the grind doing the taxes. Ugh.
I'm linking up late with Judy's Patchwork Times.
The spiral quilting is beautiful!
ReplyDeleteI think the zoo quilt is really pretty too. It's always difficult at quilt shows. You never know, what the judges will like :-)
I like the circle quilting on the top quilt. Cool.
ReplyDeleteLove, love, love your Rainbow Soul!
ReplyDeleteThe spirall quilting is amazing. I love the movement it adds to the quilt, and the illusion that the blocks are circular as well. I love it, and I'm so glad it you shared it with us and that it is on display for others to see as well. Great job!
ReplyDeleteSoul Searching turned out beautifully! You've done really well with stash busting this year. I feel your pain on the taxes. We had to deal with my MILs estate last year, so there have been lots of questions for the CPA in the family.
ReplyDeleteWow - your Rainbow Soul Searching is gorgeous - that quilting is perfect for it!!
ReplyDeleteDar your Soul Searching turned out gorgeous!!!! I'm so glad I checked in on you in time to see it :*). Just think - we have matching quilts!!!
