My quiet helper "Lady Jane" says it's a bit too warm to wear right now, but she was so cooperative while I tried different ways to wrap it. This was by far the best of my tries. You don't want to see what the others looked like. Not pretty.
I'm still working on the House Targaryen socks. Just finished the heel and heading toward the toe. It's taking a bit longer because I'm doing the shell pattern all the way to the toe decrease row, otherwise I would be finished and starting my second sock! That's my excuse and I'm sticking to it.--because it's true.
If you haven't seen what others have done this week on their needles. stop by Judy's Patchwork Times and check it out.
Nice shawl, Dar! I really like your sock and its yarn, too.
ReplyDeleteoh pretty colors in the shawl - and I LOVE that sock -- great pattern! I like to continue the pattern down to the toe too, and yes it takes more time but I like looking down at my feet and seeing that pattern -- yeah I'm weird that way! LOL Have a great weekend!
ReplyDeleteYour shawl turned out beautifully! Love the colors you used for it.
ReplyDeleteLove your Faux Mobius Shawl, especially the yarn you used. Would you mind sharing where we could find the pattern, please?
ReplyDeleteFussycut, You are a no reply on your email, so here's the info you requested. I thought I had all the information on my original post that I linked to in this post; but if not --the yarn is from Jo Anns and it's called Rainbow Boucle by Purl Essence. The pattern is free in the inside label. You can see the picture of the label on the original post. Hope this help you. I've started another one in new colors.
DeleteWell you GO girl!!!! Love your shawl - yum!!! Don't those finishes feel so good? Knitting finishes take so much longer for me than quilting - and I seem to appreciate them more because of that :*) And you are really coming along with your socks - the pattern looks GREAT!
