I can hardly believe that it is Friday again so quickly. I had hoped to have my first sock completed, but the week was busy with a 3 day quilt show, two quilt meetings and a few other commitments to keep me from my goal. I am getting sooo close though. I just had to try it on to see how it fits and to measure how much more I needed to go before starting the toe section.
I also worked on "Snow Friends" quilt this week. The applique is all finished and the top and bottom sections are stitched together waiting to be added to the center panel.

Love your sock yarn. And your "Snow Friends" are so cute, even though I am totally over the snow this year! :)
ReplyDeletefun yarn for the socks! great snowmen
ReplyDeleteMy first thought when I saw the sock photo was that you had to have some kind of special foot surgery. Glad to see you didn't! LOL
ReplyDeleteAlmost like fingerless gloves- HaHa. Good luck on the rest of the sock with all your busyness. Your snowmen are so cute. I'm looking forward to seeing the whole top together.
ReplyDeleteFun sock! Snow Friends is looking good too.
ReplyDeleteNice socks! I hope you got my email about the hat yarn? Love you snowman quilt!
ReplyDeleteI suppose you could start a new fad and make these "toeless" socks.......kinda like the finger-less gloves that are so popular now? LOL "Snow Friends" is looking great! Good to see you at the show last weekend!
ReplyDeleteLove that sock!! You're almost there!
ReplyDeleteSnow Friends is adorable. They look so happy. Maybe we'll have lots of snow next winter to keep them company ;-).
