OMG for January

After looking through my UFO list, I've decided to work on my Sapphire Stars flimsy for the January One Monthly Goal challenge.  It should be fun to pull fabrics from my stash to piece the backing and hopefully will find time to quilt, bind and label it before the end of the month.

I'm linking to One Monthly Goal to start the ball rolling.  You can checkout what others are committed to work on this month.

  1. Your quilt is so cheerful. You've got a big job ahead of you to finish it this month. Do you have lots of time to quilt? Now that I'm retired I can have time but sometimes I just go off in different directions. I need to quilt somewhere away from home so I don't get into any mischief! Do you quilt the quilt yourself?

  2. That's going to be so pretty. I got stalled somewhere along the way, need to get back to it.

  4. You've put so much work in it -- it's great. Love how you turned the piano key borders at the top and bottom. Good luck getting it finished up!

  5. The quilt top looks great. What brand of treadle is that in the picture?

  6. Looks terrific! You can get it done, I'm sure, staying indoors during this cold weather!

  7. It really does sparkle like stars! That’s Kevin’s mystery isn’t it? I so wanted to play along but had too much going on at the time. You can do it!!!

  8. That's beautiful. I really like the way your piano keys on the top and bottom borders are horizontal. I may need to "borrow" that idea!
