Design Wall - Monday Oct. 26

Here's my design wall today.  I finished the side blocks and am starting the auditioning process for the background of the center portion.   I love picking out fabrics for quilts, but I must confess it is sometimes frustrating and slow.  I keep changing my mind and seeing new possibilities and then it's hard to decide which way to go!

For more ideas and to see what everyone else is working on, take a look at Patchwork Times.

  1. Yummy possibilities! I love that orange as a background for the middle - makes the bright colors in the blocks pop! This is going to be gorgeous :*)

  3. I like the idea of orange, too -- what about that one center, right? I bet it would be wonderful!! Your blocks are very bright and happy -- this is going to be a quilt that makes people *smile*! :)

  6. This quilt you are currently working on is so beautiful. I LOVE your color choices in the stained glass blocks, and also the backing on those blocks. I agree with Sandy that the orange is stunning. Can't wait to see what you choose!

  7. With any luck it will get easier to pick fabrics. I enjoy it too, but sometimes I get stuck. Actually more often than I like to admit. And I have been quilting 30 years already.
I like the big orange - but then I have been partial to orange this year.
