Design Wall - May 7, 2012

I was trying to get my graduation quilt top finished for today's design wall, and I almost made it.  I'm one border short.  I had unexpected company this weekend, so I did not get as much done as I planned.

This is as far as I got.  It still gets a wide pink border that matches the pink backing.  Maybe by next Monday, I'll get the last borders on and quilted.  Think I'll make it??  :)   The graduation party is the first week of June!

Also was busy this week with another Quilts of Valor.
This is the 5th finish of my goal of 12 in 2012 for QOV.  The blocks were made by members of the Southern Quilters and put together by Darla G all from of one of my guilds.  We hand quilted it at our bi-monthly meeting of QOV and I finished the remaining parts - binding, label and pillowcase.

Tune in the others' design wall over at Patchwork Tiimes.

  6. I like your quilt, and you'll make the deadline, I'm sure. Isn't that neat that you all got together to hand quilt? What a great idea and a very nice quilt.
